Once again, I will post tomorrow about things going on this evening. I'm trying to connect with SIT people more, so I'm going out again. Some Jordanian guy people met at a bar is throwing a BBQ for us. He used to live in America, but four years ago he had to move to back to Jordan. I think he misses America. He told me that there is no Taco Bell in Jordan and that makes him sad. He is really nice and his name is Khalid.
Currently, I am sitting in a cafe called Turtle Green. This made me think of my stuffed turtle that had to remain at home, Mr. Tuddles. While I brought a smaller stuffed turtle with me, I miss my big guy! At this restaurant, they have a turtle tank with real turtles as well as stuffed turtles on the walls. Below is a picture of a stuffed turtle. This place just feels homey and I love it!
